At the heart of Muchachos, is family. It’s what inspired Nick Maestas to dream up the concept of Muchachos.
He took the New Mexican flavors he grew up watching his grandparents prepare and mixed it with his own love of smoking bbq.
Together, it created a unique new flavor concept.

The journey to get to this point wasn’t an easy one. It involved the loss of Nick’s grandparents, especially his grandfather.
Nick found that cooking the foods he grew up eating was what brought him closest to those he lost.
But it wasn’t until he meshed those flavors with his love of BBQ did things really take off.
Today, Muchachos has grown from a food truck to now also opening a brick & mortar in the heart of downtown Lincoln. Muchachos doors are open to anyone and everyone.
When you walk through the door, you’re treated like family. Just as Nick’s grandparents treated their family.

We are now offering coffee, craft beers and margaritas.
